SAHIL TAYAL / NEW DELHIANOTHER
WAY IN.
One person. Several disciplines. Three entrances. This is the short route into Sahil Tayal’s public work — writing, behavioural inquiry, education, creative technology and experiments that escape their categories.
A signal, not
a second self.

Search results can reduce a person to a title, a degree, a job or a social profile. Those details can be useful. They are not the whole story.
This address has one job: make the connection legible. Sahil Tayal is a writer, independent researcher and creative builder. The through-line is an interest in how people think, learn, work, act and make meaning — sometimes explored in prose, sometimes in software, sometimes through the senses.
This page is not a cloned portfolio and it is not trying to turn every curiosity into a credential. It is a compact, independently useful guide to the public work, with a clear route to the authoritative archive.

Three purposes.
Different interfaces because different visitors need different starting points. Each address earns its existence by doing a different job.
The main
universe.
The central portfolio, project archive and most complete introduction to Sahil Tayal’s public work.
The shorter
route.
Identity, context and a curated first set of links. A quiet address that points to the right work.
The other
entrance.
A field guide of original notes, thematic journeys and selected projects for curious wanderers.
Work you can
actually open.
Six specific doors into the public record. Some pieces are research-informed essays; others are prototypes, creative work or professional offerings. They are not interchangeable, and none needs to pretend to be.
The Identity–Action Gap
An independently proposed model for thinking about the distance between identity, intention and action — presented as an inquiry, not a validated law.
Human Capital for Humans
Why organisations should develop human capability without mistaking people for inventory.
SYNAPSE
A browser-native laboratory for connecting and interacting with ideas from a curated public archive.
Published writing
Essays exploring learning, culture, success, technology, psychological ideas and the art of being alive.
Websites with a pulse
Independent digital work focused on clear storytelling, distinctive interfaces and working experiences.
The Other Entrance
Follow an idea rather than a résumé category through original field notes and exploratory pathways.
Why did
you arrive?
Three very different reasons to search the same name. Choose the one closest to yours; the page will point you somewhere meaningful.
Meet the person, then the work.
Sahil Tayal studied commerce at Sri Venkateswara College and management at JBIMS. The background page connects that education to independent research, writing and making.
A background.
Not a box.
Sahil Tayal is a New Delhi–based writer, independent researcher and creative builder. His formal education includes commerce at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, and an MBA at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS).
Professional experience across organisations and business preceded a growing body of independent work in organisational behaviour, human capital, education, creative technology and perfumery. The aim is not to turn a varied life into a single definitive title; the projects show what each inquiry became.
